The presentation of the action «Support of small and very small Enterprises affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the Municipality of Piraeus» was held today to business representatives of the city at the Business Support Center of the Municipality of Piraeus with the presence of few participants in compliance with the safety measures against COVID – 19.
It should be noted that the action concerns the support of small and very small enterprises of the Municipality that were affected by the pandemic in the form of a non-repayable grant. The total public expenditure amounts to 7 million euro and is co-financed with resources from Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund – ERDF). The public funding covers working capital equal to 50% of the company’s expenses in 2019 with a minimum grant amount of € 1,500 and a maximum of € 20,000. The beneficiaries are small and very small companies which legally operate in the Municipality of Piraeus.
The implementation is carried out through the State Aid Information System and funding applications must be submitted via its website www.ependyseis.gr/mis.
The companies contact the Business Support Center of the Municipality of Piraeus and the consultants of the Centre prepares their application free of charge while providing consulting support.

Τhe presentation was attended by the Deputy Regional Governor of Piraeus Mrs. Stavroula Antonakou, the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Development Mr. Dimitris Karydis, the President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Vassilis Korkidis, the President of the Professional Chamber of Piraeus Mr. Giannis Voutsinas, the President of the Piraeus Chamber of Crafts Mr. George Papamanolis, the Vice President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping Piraeus Mr. George Alexandratos, the President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce Mr. Thodoris Kapralos, the representative of the President of the Schistos Industrial Park Mr. Polychronopoulos, Mr. Vassilios Drikos and officials of the Municipality.
